Menorah Making Contest

Description

Calling all creatives! The J invites you to join their Hanukkah menorah-making contest this year and create a unique, homemade menorah for their lobby display. Bring your homemade design to the J by Friday, Dec. 12.

Artists must be over the age of 6. If you intend to submit a menorah, reserve your spot!

1. Your menorah needs eight candles, plus one more candle set apart from the others as the shamash (helper candle).
2. Your menorah needs to be made with materials you can find at home.
3. Your menorah dimensions should not be more than one foot high and one foot wide.
4. Artwork must include a short statement sharing the inspiration/theme of your menorah.
5. You must drop off your submission at the J by 5 pm on Friday, Dec. 12. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Entries will be displayed in our SJCC lobby and open for voting December 15‐19. Vote for your favorite! Winning menorahs will be announced and featured on the SJCC website.
