Make a Difference for Children at Treehouse or Foundation for Early Learning Benefit Luncheon

Two important fundraising events for nonprofits that benefit children are coming up: Treehouse's "Champions for Foster Kids" luncheon on Wednesday, March 16, and the Foundation for Early Learning's "2011 Leadership Luncheon" on Friday, March 18. Reserve your space now for these special events.

Champions for Foster Kids, Treehouse's most important fundraising event of the year, features a luncheon program with celebrity guest speaker Patti LaBelle, Grammy Award-winning recording artist and foster care advocate. Treehouse kids will also tell their stories. There is no cost to attend the event, but guests will be encouraged to give generously (donations of $250 or more will be matched 100 percent). The luncheon will be held at the Sheraton Seattle (1400 6th Ave.) from noon to 1 p.m. Visit www.treehouseforkids.org to register.

The 2011 Leadership Luncheon features keynote speaker Rob Glaser, chairman and founder of RealNetworks, innovative business leader, philanthropist and father of three. The event will also feature an expo for early learning vendors and a post-luncheon salon discussion. The program will take place at the Westin Seattle (1900 5th Ave.) from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $125 per person and may be reserved by visiting www.earlylearning.org.
