Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council Offers Poetry Contest

The Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council seeks submissions for its fourth annual poetry month celebration. Selected poets will be invited to read at a special event during April, National Poetry Month, which will also feature recognized local poets J.J. Baugher and Belle Randall.

Winning poems will be displayed at the Shoreline Arts Festival in June. Poems will be judged in three separate divisions: Secondary student (grades 7 to 12), college student and non-student adult. The submission deadline is Friday, March 18, and application forms are available online at https://www.shorelinearts.net/.
