Try Peeka, a mobile platform that allows kids to experience books in virtual reality (VR) at The Hive, located in the Pacific Science Center. The local startup invites visitors to immerse themselves in a narrated picture book using a VR headset (available for purchase, starting at $20), earphones, a smartphone and the Peeka app.
