Monday, March 2
Ballard Locks Free Tour. Free public scheduled walking tours start at the Visitor Center and last about an hour. You can join a tour anytime. 2 to 3 p.m. Hiram M. Chittenden Locks (Ballard), Seattle.
Play Space. A highly interactive drop in play time, where motor skills and social skills can be developed for children ages 1-5. Ride scooters, play with bouncy toys, and more. This one is at Laurelhurst Community Center from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Also happening at Ravenna-Eckstein Community Center starting at 2:45 p.m.
Tuesday, March 3
Village Playdays. Free story time, crafts and fun activities for kids each week. Attend a Village Playdays event and receive a Playdays Pass featuring special offers to select U Village shops and restaurants. This week’s host store is Kumon! 10 to 11 a.m. University Village, Seattle.
Connective Fibers. Big Kid Pick! Join a circle of creative fiber artists, and craft your own unique projects! A volunteer will be available to help teach how to knit, crochet, loom and read patterns. 6 to 7 p.m. Fairwood Library, Renton.
Wednesday, March 4
Sprouts and Seniors Play Group. Bring kids from age 0-5 to play with residents at Pacifica Senior Living. Play with toys on hand or bring your own, and see firsthand the benefits that arise from senior citizens and babies playing together. 10 to 11 a.m. Pacifica Senior Living Community Cottage, Lynnwood.

Scarecrow Video's Children's Hour. Using a combination of short films, story time, arts activities and science experiments, children learn new concepts alongside peers in a fun environment. This season's theme is "Earth, Wind, Fire & Water: The Elements of Life." 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Scarecrow Video (University District), Seattle.
Paint to Learn at TAM. Children and caregivers paint canvases together with a focus on early math learning. Use shapes, numbers, size, measurement and patterns as guiding principles. 6 to 7 p.m. Tacoma Art Museum.
It's a PRIDE Party! Celebrate the diversity of our community through art, music and other fun activities! Show your LGBTQ+ spirit with a Sharpie tie-dye t-shirt. Bring a white tee to decorate, art supplies provided. 7 to 8 p.m. Fairwood Library, Renton.
Community Sing Along. The Redmond Community Sing Along (and play along) is a monthly, all-ages gathering to sing and play your favorite songs, meet your neighbors and have fun!
