Seattle Center’s Teen Tix program is a innovative arts-access program for teenagers. Anyone who is 13 to 19 years of age can sign up for this free program and receive passes that get them into the Seattle area’s best music, dance, theatre, film, visual and literary art shows and events for just $5.
Currently, 38 arts organizations throughout the Puget Sound region participate in the Teen Tix program. They include ACT Theatre, EMP Museum, IMAX Theatre and Laser Dome, Henry Art Gallery, Northwest Film Forum, On The Boards, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Seattle Art Museum and more.
Curious about a specific event? Check out the Teen Tix blog, where over 80 youth contributors review their experiences out and about at local performances.
Teen Tix was founded in 2004, in partnership with the resident arts organizations on the Seattle Center campus, with the goal of nurturing the next generation of Seattle art audiences. In 2006, Teen Tix began adding partners outside of Seattle Center. To learn more about the program, visit www.seattlecenter.com/teentix.
