Street Scramble Series Kicks Off Saturday

How well do you know your neighborhood? Discover hidden treasures you’ve never seen before on a Street Scramble – a family-friendly urban run, walk or bike adventure. With a special map as your guide, find as many checkpoints as you can before time runs out.

Registration is open for the first Street Scramble of the year, which takes place on Saturday, April 26 at 9:30 a.m. Street Scramblers can take in the Queen Anne neighborhood, exploring some of Seattle’s most famous views and cobbled streets. And, for the first time this year, there will be a Play-a-Game checkpoint, sponsored by Blue Highway Games in Queen Anne.

The full 2014 Street Scramble schedule is as follows:

  • Saturday, May 17 – Ballard, Seattle
  • Saturday, May 24 – Gig Harbor
  • Sunday, June 15 – Tacoma
  • Saturday, Aug. 16 – Alki, West Seattle
  • Sunday, Sept. 21 – Fremont Oktoberfest
  • Saturday, Oct. 25 – Edmonds
  • Saturday, Dec. 13 – Pike Place Market, downtown Seattle
