Each year, usually around the midway point of session, legislators leave the hallowed halls of our state’s capitol to reconnect with constituents at community centers, libraries and schools. This year, “Town Hall Saturday” is set for March 16.
Most meetings will take place this Saturday, although some will occur on other days. Take a look at the schedule to find details about the meeting in your district.
Town Hall Saturday is a great opportunity to give legislators another reminder that kids are counting on them to make smart policy choices and smart investments that protect and support children and families, including closing tax loopholes and raising revenue.
