The Assistance League of Seattle has announced that it will offer enrichment scholarships for summer 2013. The program is open to middle and high school students, in grades 6 through 11, in the Seattle School District, including home schooled students with public school affiliation.
Almost any area in which students display a keen interest will be considered. Exceptions not covered by the program include religious studies, sports exclusive camps, foreign study or exchange programs, private lessons or any transportation affiliated with a program.
Last year the Assistance League awarded 70 summer scholarships for a total of $32,000 to students in 17 of the Seattle school district middle and high schools.
The deadline for applications is Monday, April 8. If you know a youth that would benefit from this assistance, direct them to the Assistance League of Seattle's website for the application form. If you have questions, email Mickey Sweeney at [email protected] or Carol Singler at [email protected].
