Have you thought about creating a will? Parents are invited to the new PEPS Parent Talk, 6 Steps to Create Your Will, on Wednesday, Nov. 13, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Speech, Hearing and Deafness Center on Capitol Hill (1625 19th Ave. in Seattle).
Learn about how to create clear, simple documents, name a guardian for your children, give someone the power to manage your finances, name the personal representative and decide who gets what, including how you can leave a legacy by including the causes you are passionate about. Megan Gebhardt, from Gebhardt Law Office, will be the speaker.
