New Bellevue Zip Tour Open

You may not think of Bellevue as a particularly adventurous destination, but a new zip line tour opening April 5 and 6 at Eastgate Park may change your mind.

The course features seven zip lines and two bridges that let you explore the upper canopies of large Douglas fir and maple trees, with views of the Bellevue skyline and Mt. Baker. The longest zip line is 600 feet, and the tallest in 80 feet above the ground. Of course, everyone is safely harnessed in and led by an experienced guide.

The zip line tour is open to the public on weekends for those ages 9 and older (ages 17 and younger require an adult present) who weight between 60 and 275 pounds.

Prices are $69 for adults and $44 for youth. The tour is approximately two-and-a-half hours long. To learn more or to pre-register, visit www.bellevueziptour.com.
