February food driving box campaign

February is a low month for food donations - and your family can help

February is a low month for food donations and your family can help. A local mom is launching the second annual Food Driving Box program to help restock Seattle’s 27 food banks. Throughout the month, families are encouraged to collect and donate red packaged food.

Getting involved is easy. Pick up your free reusable, printed cardboard Food Driving Box at one of 27 food banks near you. Stow the box in your vehicle and, when you shop, add items to the box. When your box is full, drop it at one of the participating food banks (location information is included on the box).

Help drive away hunger in February by participating in the Food Driving Box campaign. To learn more, visit fooddrivingbox.org.
