Tell a Fairy Tale Day; Tugboat Story Time

It's national Tell a Fairy Tale Day. Celebrate by snuggling with your kids under a pile of blankets and reading some of the same Grimm's Fairy Tales you might have first heard as a kid. Or, start a new tradition of writing your own family's adventures or urban legends.

The coolest venue for story time on the planet hosts Tugboat Story Time today. The bi-monthly, free event returns to the Historic Ships Wharf from 11 a.m. to noon. Kids age 2 to 5 can board a 100-year-old tugboat at The Center for Wooden Boats to hear tales of the sea.

Also: If you're in Greenwood between 4 and 5 pm swing by Top Ten Toys for Playmobil Play Day, or drop by Central Cinema for its weekly Cartoon Happy Hour from 5:30 to 7.
