Storytime by the fire; Lego Mania!

Eastside parents: If you want to add a new storytime into your routine beyond the tried-and-true library try Little Book Worms, the weekly 11 am meetup at Bellevue's Bravern. The hour-long story, song and snack time is hosted around the fireplace. It's a cozy setting while it's still chilly outside, and it's free. Parking is validated, too.

It's still not clear if Legos are more fun for kids or adults, but after watching my husband and son sit for a solid hour working together on a project I'd say it's an even split. Lego lovers (suggested age is 3-12 for this one) will gather at SPL's NewHolly Branch for today's Lego Mania! Kids can create "something super-fantastic" from 4-5:30 p.m.
