If your kids would love nothing more than to spend spring break glued to a gaming console, why not check out EMP Museum’s Power Up! Gaming Days? It’s a celebration of all things gaming, with a special workshop for kids (preregister), talks with the pros, and of course, game playing. It’s going on through Wed., and is included with admission.

If urban planning appeals to your kids, they’ll want to come to Future City Engineering at 10:30 a.m. at the Seattle Public Library’s Lake City branch. The event includes a special story time about engineering, a talk from three middle school students about their award-winning Future City project, and the chance for kids to design and build their own future city.
