The West Seattle Tool Library is hosting a BBQ for Earth Week, and you’re invited. Grab a veggie burger or bratwurst and learn more about how tool lending works, plus take advantage of garden tool sharpening, wheelbarrow repairs, a DIY bike repair clinic, and kids activities like seed starts and worm farming. Suggested donation $20/family.
Families can immerse themselves in art at the University of Washington’s Henry Art Gallery during Arty Party. Enjoy lots of hands-on art projects, gallery exploration, Native American storytelling, and even some excerpts from this year’s Children’s Film Festival Seattle. $10/family, free for members.
