On May Day today, kids can watch marine mammals play with flower shaped ice toys. Free with admission. And at 10:30, Small Frye returns to Frye Art Museum. The 10:30 event for 3 to 5-year-old kids includes a storytime with Seattle Children's Theatre staff and an art project.

If you're eating out tonight and want to try something new, check out the just-opened Kukai Ramen in Capitol Hill, or head to the Northgate outpost near Thornton Creek Cinemas or Kukai's Bellevue location. Order an extra side of extra-long noodles and let the kids slurp away.
