The proper way to greet someone today is “May the 4th be with you.” And the proper way to celebrate today is to visit EMP museum for Star Wars Day. They’ll have crafts, trivia, an R2-D2 replica, and more. Be sure to check out the current exhibit “Rebel, Jedi, Princess, Queen: Star Wars and the Power of Costume.” And of course, costumes are encouraged! The fun lasts all day and is included with admission.
Go on and let the kids stay up a little late tonight to see the Academy Award-nominated film Song of the Sea. Made by the creators of The Secret of Kells, this hand-drawn animated fantasy is based on the Irish legend of the last of the sea-children who go on an epic journey. It’s playing at 7 p.m. tonight at SIFF Cinema Uptown in Seattle.
