At 9:30 this morning, Queen Anne's Umbrella Tree Studio hosts 3 Little Birds: Music for your Wee One. "Tailor-made for baby bird," the $15 session includes plenty of stories, songs and movement.
Tonight at the wonderful SoDo house of smoked meats otherwise known as Jack's BBQ, Seattle Family Photography is hosting its monthly "Mama Papa Happy Hour." The group sets up a backdrop at the restaurant to help parents with cameras practice photo skills and offers tips. But more than taking pictures, "it is all about building community for those parents who are at home and need to get out to have a beer and meet some other parents," explains founder Jennifer Loomis.
