Happy Mother’s Day, moms! If you feel like doing something other than basking in a breakfast-filled bed, Burke Museum is hosting their regular StoryCraft event, this time with the theme “stories my mother taught me.”
You can also see what’s blooming at lovely local gardens. Kruckeberg Botanic Garden hosts their annual Mother’s Day open house and plant sale, complete with kids’ activities and a food truck or two. On the Eastside, Bellevue Botanical Garden is a gorgeous spot to visit, and down south you’ll be wise to check out Lakewold Gardens.
