Lynnwood’s Celebration of Food Festival sounds very promising – who doesn’t love to eat? This free event at the Lynnwood Convention Center has tasty bites, demonstrations and activities that center around growing, preparing and preserving healthy food.
Just like everyone’s Irish on St. Patrick’s Day, everyone’s Norwegian on Syttende Mai (a.k.a. 17th of May). Head to Ballard (where else?) for live music and dancing, crafts, food, and a parade at 4 p.m. Tip: Nordic Heritage Museum is free all day today, and you betcha they’ll be celebrating!
