As they do in Japan, Seattle Japanese Garden is celebrating Children’s Day today. Not only will you get to enjoy the garden in all its loveliness, but you’ll get to see taiko drumming and martial arts demonstrations, a puppet show, and take part in origami-making, a scavenger hunt and other hands-on activities. Admission is FREE today for ages 12 and younger.
