Celebrate the arts in Beacon Hill and Shoreline; movie night

The Beacon Art WalkAbout features performers, an art market, art activities, food trucks, and the chance to stroll around and see art inside and outside of local businesses. Meanwhile, up north a little a ways is another chance to get artistic at the Shoreline Arts Festival. In addition to food, art-making and art displays, you can see local kids perform with Missoula Children’s Theatre in a staging of Aladdin at 1 p.m. ($8).

Escape your overheated house tonight and see a movie. Springfree Trampoline in Issaquah will show Rio 2 at 5 p.m., while LeMay America’s Car Museum in Tacoma hosts their Drive-In Movie Night where you can watch Night at the Museum from your car or a blanket on the lawn. Both are free!
