Feeling like a lowkey beach walk? Trying to take advantage of our quickly-fleeting long summer days? Head to Point Defiance in Tacoma for a naturalist-guided beach walk today and discover the gorgeous hidden universe within the tidepools of the Puget Sound. Led by PDZA staff, the beach walks along Owen Beach teach kids and adults about tidepool biology, the local biodiversity, and even give participants the chance to record the beach walk data in PDZA's NatureMapping database.
