Preschoolers and their parents can come get a science lesson full of hands-on fun and learning during preschool family play lab this afternoon at Pacific Science Center. Today’s theme is Colorful Chemistry. After the 90-minute class, you’ll be free to leave behind your stroller and/or diaper bag in the secure room and go explore the museum. Be sure to call ahead to reserve your spot in the class!
Older kids may be interested to see a free showing of Big Dream tonight at the Edmonds Community College theater. The film follows seven young women around the world who are interested in pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering and math. Stick around afterward and be part of the discussion.
