Maker Days: Homemade Microscope.
Sat, April 30, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. BYO smartphone and learn how the smartphone camera can become a powerful microscope with the help of some simple household materials. Makers can view objects at 175x magnification just by using their phone! Event included with admission. $17, $15 seniors, $14 students and military, free ages 14 and younger accompanied by an adult.

Dance Workshop with Ballard High School Dance Team, Sun May 1, 1-3 p.m. K-12 students can join a day of dancing with the Ballard HS dancers, fresh from their 4th State competition. Participants will learn choreography and can join in the performance at the BHS Dance Spring Showcase at 6 p.m. at Ballard High School. May Day Celebration and Potluck, Sun May 1, 3 p.m. Woodland Park. FREE. Join the Fremont Arts Council for a neighborhood gathering at Woodland Park. Wear white, bring flowers to make a crown and come dance around the May pole to help usher in Spring. Don't forget to bring some munchies to share (BYO plates, cups, utensils). May Day Celebration.
