Family Wetland Walk: International Migratory Bird Day, Sat May 14 10-11:30 a.m. Magnuson Park, meet in parking lot E5. Explore Magnuson's Wetlands Complex with a specialist and spot the Mallards, Flickers and more. Learn about nests and bird identification skills then take part in fun hands-on activities. $3/person. Pre-register. Follow sign from Lot E5 to Wetlands Entry Trail in NE corner of lot. Family Wetland Walk 

 

Celebrate 10 Years of Zoomazium, Sat May 14 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Woodland Park Zoo. Enjoy a day of animal encounters, performances, Bricks 4 Kidz and more at the 10th Anniversary of Woodland Park Zoo's Zoomazium. Included with admission. $19.95, $12.25 ages 3-12, free ages 2 and younger. Zoomazium Anniversary. 

 

Day at Jubilee Farm, Sat May 14 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Jubilee Farm, Carnation. FREE. The weather is wonderful, why not head to the country? Kids can take part in fun gardening activities, join a scavenger hunt, hop on a wagon ride and more. Make a day out of it and BYO picnic. Jubilee Farms Celebration. 

 

Beat the Bridge, Sun May 15 8 a.m. Husky Stadium. Benefiting the NW Chapter of JDRF, this fun 8K run take you across the Montlake and University Bridges. Can you get across before they raise the bridge? Family activities include a 3 mile family walk, a 1 mile fun run or a toddler Diaper Derby. $30-40. Beat the Bridge Run.
