Two days of Shakespeare at Lincoln Park this weekend. Join Greenstage as they bring two classics to the stage. In The Merry Wives, Sir John Falstaff is short on cash and decides the best solution is to marry a rich woman. The problem is, the ladies figure out what he is up to. In Cymbeline, Imogen’s love is banished from the kingdom by her father, the King, which opens the door for her stepmother to try to force a marriage between her son and Imogen. Deception and treachery ensues as the characters scramble for a happy ending. BYO picnic and blanket and prepare to be entertained as only Shakespeare and Greenstage can do. Donations welcomed.
