Job Details

2+ years of local print and digital advertising sales experience preferred but not required. Fundraising skills are also valuable. Must have work experience that required customer service and presentation skills.

BA degree required.

Must be a resident of Seattle or greater Seattle area.

Pay – base plus commission DOE

 

The right person for the job is highly motivated to grow their personal income by working with businesses and non-profits to plan and execute their marketing campaigns in order to reach our highly desirable demographic of men and women ages 30 – 45 with families. You also must be dedicated to the overall success of Seattle's Child – we are a small company with passionate commitment to our work.

This job is an exceptional opportunity for a parent to work from home during school hours in a challenging job with excellent salary potential. We are truly a family-friendly employer. You set your own work hours and vacation periods. You must commit to at least 25 hours weekly during regular business hours, with an expectation of at least 25 – 40 contacts daily with prospective clients

Please apply only if you welcome the flexibility and independence of working from home. We provide excellent training and sales support, however, direct supervision is minimal. You need to be able to thrive without the presence of a full-time sales manager, in other words, be an excellent self-starter and a well-organized worker who thrives with goals and embraces "being your own boss."

You will work virtually with an extraordinary team of dedicated, hard-working and talented people, however, company meetings are only quarterly (sales meetings monthly) and everyone works virtually, so if you enjoy and require the daily work atmosphere and culture of a central office, the company isn't a good match for you.

 

We're currently enjoying exceptional revenue growth both in print and digital advertising sales and have more opportunity than we can manage with our current sales team. The person we hire will jump into a fast-paced environment with high expectations.
