Your guide to a kid-friendly city

last-minute campsite

Are you an outdoors lover or … not so much?

With the imminent arrival of summer, lots of people are itching to get outdoors, heading for their favorite hiking trails and campsites — or maybe a new adventure this year.

Others, well, they just don't get it: Why would you sleep on the dirty, buggy ground when you could be clean and comfy at home or in a hotel?

And what do you know? There's actually a "third way": a camper van lets you bring some of the comforts of home into the great outdoors.

Regardless of where you land on this spectrum, you'll enjoy meeting these people and hearing their different perspectives:

Hiking 101: Want to hit the trail with your family, but not sure where to start? We've got you covered.

"Getting rad" with a baby: Let this couple show you how.

The camper van: The perfect outdoors solution — and surprisingly useful in the city, too.

Thanks, but no thanks: You might be surprised by these families' reasons for not loving the wilderness.
