All babies deserve diapers: Here's how you can donate this weekend

West Side Baby is holding diaper drives at two big community festivals this weekend, July 21-22.

The organization calls it a "simple yet audacious mission" that everyone in the community can get behind, in the belief that: all babies deserve diapers, so all parents can keep their children healthy and happy! So each summer, it holds "Stuff the Bus" drives to collect diapers to immediately distribute to families.

Here's where you can find West Side Baby volunteers (check out their new T-shirts!) this weekend:

West Seattle Grand Parade, 11 a.m. Saturday down California Avenue.

White Center Jubilee Days Parade,  11 a.m. Sunday, down 16th Avenue South between 112th and 100th streets.

So if you're heading out to one of these events, take along some diapers to "stuff the bus" or have some cash on hand to donate.

It's also possible to donate to West Side Baby online or through Amazon.

West Side Baby distributes a variety of necessities to families around King County and partners with other family-oriented agencies. Since its founding in 2001, it says it has given out close to $20 million worth of clothing, diapers, safety equipment and more to nearly 279,000 children.
