10th Annual Monster Bash

St. Stephen’s Church, Seattle

Here’s a great opportunity to support a great cause and give your Halloween costume a dry run. Head to St. Stephen’s Church behind Seattle Children’s hospital for a fun afternoon of ghoulish games, prizes, creepy drafts, costume contest, parade, live music and more! All proceeds benefit Seattle Children’s Pediatric Advanced Care Team. Bring a new, unused costume for a Seattle Children’s patient and receive an extra special trick-or-treat! $13

 

The Great SBCC Pumpkin Race
Sat, Oct 27 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
South Bellevue Community Center. FREE

It’s a Pinewood Derby with a twist! BYO decorated pumpkin and race or jump your pumpkin on wheels for prizes and bragging rights! There will be two "heats" – 10 a.m. to noon, and noon to 2 p.m.

 

Dia de Muertos Festival

Seattle Center Armory. FREE

Head to the Seattle Center this weekend to experience the Mexican traditions of Dia de Muertos, a day honoring departed loved ones. There will be live performances, crafts, food, displays, an altar, and more.

 

Storybook Theater: 3 Pigs

Kirkland Performance Center

This classic tale is told with a twist by Storybook Theater this weekend. Kids 3-10 will love this musical performance with catchy, original songs, clever stories and life lessons with happy endings. All tickets $15.

 

Bellevue Rock & Gem Show
Sunday, Oct. 28, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Vasa Park, Bellevue. FREE

For all kids young and old who love rocks, gems, fossils and more, this show is for you. Head to Bellevue for this annual event, which includes vendors, demonstrations and super fun kids’ activities.
