From Snowflake Lane in Bellevue to a new holiday wonderland at Safeco Field, there's plenty going on this weekend — and for the next month.

 

 

Greet the Season
10 a.m.-8 p.m. Sat, Nov. 24
MOHAI. FREE

It’s a full day of festive music, dance workshops, crafts and family activities at MOHAI, The Center for Wooden Boats and the Historic Ships Wharf. Make sure to stick around at the end of the day for a viewing of the Argosy Christmas Ships. Fee for museum admission; outdoor activities are free. Live music schedule online.

 

"Elf the Musical, Jr."
Sat, Nov 24 7-9 p.m.
Bellevue Youth Theatre

Perfect for the entire family, come watch this fun, musical version of the movie "Elf," where a special elf saves Santa Claus and brings happiness to all. Show runs various times through Dec 2. $15.

 

Native Holiday Gift Fair
10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sat/Sun, Nov 24/25
Duwamish Longhouse. FREE

Explore the beautiful Duwamish Longhouse and shop from native artisans for crafts, jewelry, cards, clothing, fine art, food and more.

 

Snowflake Lane
7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25 (and nightly through Dec. 24)
Bellevue Way Northeast between NE 8th St & NE 4th St. FREE

There are nightly snow flurries on a parade of live toy soldiers and other characters in Bellevue. Come watch a brilliant light show and listen to the festive music. The event runs daily through Dec. 24. Free parking available in nearby garages.

 

Story Time
 10:15-10:45 a.m. Sat. Nov. 24
Northgate branch at SPL

It is story time at the Northgate Branch of the Seattle Public Library! Bring the whole family for a morning of stories, rhymes, and songs with our children's librarian. Then stay afterward for a social playtime with other families. Great for all ages but space is limited, so come early for a seat.

 

Enchant: A World of Christmas Wonder
4-10 p.m. Sat/Sun, Nov 24-25
Safeco Field, Seattle

Safeco Field is transformed into a holiday wonderland. Enjoy a light maze, ice skating trail, holiday market, Santa visits and nightly musical entertainment. Event runs through Dec. 30. Tickets start at $20; free children 3 and younger.
