Valentine's Day 2019: Fun around Seattle for kids and families

Warm up your February days with some Valentine-themed family fun. Here are some events coming up this week.

 

Wednesday, Feb. 13

Parents' Night Out

Drop off the kids for three hours at KidsQuest, while you have a date night. The kids will be busy with pizza, crafts and science fun. For ages 4-10. Cost for non-members is $35, or $25 for a second kid.

Thursday, Feb. 14

Valentine’s Day at the Aquarium

Learn about the complicated and surprising love lives of sea creatures, including the Giant Pacific Octopus. Regular admission.

Let Your Love Light Shine! Make an e-textile Valentine brooch

Using basic circuitry, electronics and crafty flair, make a light-up felt broach. Register online. Recommended for ages 12 and up.
