Special Story Time with Laura McGee Kvasnosky – Squeak!

In honor of Buy-Nothing Day, come to the Central Branch of the Seattle Public Library to make hot cocoa mix, a calming fall "tea bath", and fall leaf wreaths you can share.

 

Piper’s Creek Salmon Celebration

Bundle up and head to Carkeek Park to see chum and coho salmon return to Piper’s Creek. Then stick around and enjoy food, hot drinks, music, and activities throughout the park. Salmon Stewards will be on hand to answer questions. Read more here.

"When Dr. Seuss Meets Charlie Brown": A Family Concert

Philharmonia Northwest's family concert is here again to provide an incredible first-time symphony experience for young audience members, as well as for the young at heart! Based on Dr. Seuss’ popular book, "The Sneetches," a narrator and orchestra tella story about the perils of bigotry and the acceptance of our differences. Featuring virtuoso pianist Jeffrey Biegel, the tunes from "A Charlie Brown Christmas" will make your feet dance and your heart sing as you begin your holiday season! $10 child, $20 student/senior, $30 adult.
