Each year, about 2000 people participate in the parade, which is full of pirates, pipe bands, high school bands, drill teams, Irish dancing groups, and more. Come show your Irish pride and celebrate the patron saint of Ireland at the parade and then continue the celebration of Irish and Irish American tradition and heritage at the Seattle Center in the Armory Food & Event Hall. This two-day festival is full of vibrant music, dance, art, language, and history, as well as craft goods, genealogy advice, tin whistle classes, an Irish bar, whiskey tasting, and much more.
