Where to go to find Easter fun!

Springā€™s arrival brings many good things for kids, including Easter egg hunts and other Easter festivities. In 2024 Easter comes early – Sunday, March 31st – and most (but not all) egg hunts are happening Saturday, March 30th. A welcome harbinger of spring, Easter egg hunts are great family fun – outside, active, and typically free (note that a few events do charge a fee and require advance ticketing).Ā 

Be sure to show up for egg hunts early – they typically start right on time and are over very quickly! And as always we remind you that things do change so do check event websites before making your family plans and have a hoppinā€™ good time!

Spring Egg Hunts at Seattle Community Centers

The age limits for egg hunts vary at each Seattle Parks and Recreation Community Centers so check carefully when deciding where to go. Arrive early, wear shoes meant for running and bring a bag or basket to collect goodies and eggs!Ā

Easter Egg Hunt Sand Point Ā

Join this year’s Community Easter Egg Hunt at Sand Point Community United Methodist Church. They will have donuts, coffee, juice, pictures with the Easter Bunny, age-separated egg hunts, and lots of fun. This is an indoor and outdoor event.

Easter Egg Hunt at Bishop Blanchet High SchoolĀ 

Ages: 9 and under

When: Saturday, March 23. 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Join the Annual BBHS Easter Egg Hunt at Blanchet on Mickey Naish Field; everyone is welcome. Children ages 9 and under are invited to participate in this fun-filled event that will include snacks, crafts, and prizes. The Easter Bunny will be hopping around and available for photos. Enter the parking lot on the N 82nd St. or south side of the school and go up to the field.

Easter Egg Hunt at Clover Toys

Ages: preschoolers, K-5.

When: March 23 & 24. 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Hop over to Clover Toys for a cracking good time at their Egg Hunt extravaganza for the whole family. Each egg hunter gets to seek out three eggs hidden throughout the store. Anticipate spending a mere 15 minutes on the search. Once they collect all the eggs, they can trade them in for a prize.

Ages: 12 and under

When: Saturday, March 30. 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. The egg hunt starts at 1:30 p.m.

Scramble over to Roxhill Park Field for a free egg hunt hosted by Rec’N The Streets. The egg hunt starts at 1:30 pm. There will be bunnies, craft activities (including dying eggs), and a magic show for the family to enjoy.

Seattle University AMA Family Easter Hunt

All Ages

When: Saturday, March 30. 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Hop into spring with the annual Easter Egg Hunt hosted by Seattle University’s chapter of the American Marketing Association. With over 500 eggs to find, there’s plenty of fun for the entire family. Dance to festive tunes, search for eggs, and enjoy their easter themed photoshoot. Bring your own basket or bag. Egg Hunt at the West Seattle Farmers Market

Easter Egg Hunt Seattle Foursquare Church

Ages: 0-12

When: Saturday, March 30. 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

Join the annual Easter Egg Hunt and find some candy-filled eggs- there are over 7,000 of them. This free event is for kids ages 0-12 and they must be accompanied by an adult. Hunts are at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and are divided by age group (0-2, 3-5, 6-12). Hang out and play some games, eat popcorn, and do a craft while you wait for your hunt to begin.

Pysanky Egg Decorating

Each session is 30 minutes. The 42nd Annual Snohomish Easter parade Kla Ha Ya Days in historic downtown Snohomish, will feature floats, bands, dance and drill teams, decorated vehicles, sports teams, animals, and more along 1st Street. Donā€™t forget to join the Bonnet Contest immediately following the parade hosted by Midnight Cry Church (happening on 1st Avenue A). Want to be in the parade? Hop your way to Meerkerk Gardens on Whidbey Island for their Easter Egg Hunt and experience the Gardens in peak bloom! This family event will have two egg hunts: 11 a.m. and again at 2 p.m. Children will get to meet the Meerkerk Bunny as well.

Semiahmoo Resort, located in Blaine, WA, will host an Easter Sunday with an all-day itinerary for family-friendly activities to celebrate Easter. Activities include Easter brunch buffet by the sea, egg hunts, lawn games, bunny photos, face painting, balloon art, and more. You don’t have to be a guest at the hotel to participate, but make reservations at the restaurant for a morning of fun.

City of Fife Easter Festival

Fife is putting on an Easter Festival at Dacca Park where children of all ages will have a chance to find eggs full of candy, win prizes, play games and enjoy a giant inflatable slide, bouncy house and obstacle course. Plus entertainment from the Seattle Cossacks Motorcycle Stunt and Drill Team. Photos with the Easter bunny will be available. The egg hunt starts at 10 am and is for children ages toddler-12, the festival is open to all ages.

Easter Egg Hunt at Cheney Stadium

Hop into the spirit of spring with R Easter Egg Hunt at the Cheney Stadium to kick off the first-day game of the 2024 season. They scatter hidden treasures across the field for all Rainiers fans 12 and under to find. All fans with tickets to Sunday’s game can participate in this egg hunt. The Egg Hunt will begin at 12:15 p.m. after the gates, and the baseball game starts at 1:35 p.m.
