Springās arrival brings many wonderful things, few more exciting than Easter egg hunts and other Easter festivities. In 2025, Easter lands on Sunday, April 20 ā and most (but not all) egg hunts are happening on Saturday, April 19th. A wonderful sign of spring, Easter egg hunts are great family fun ā outside, active, and typically free.Ā
Be sure to show up for egg hunts earlyāthey typically start right on time and are over very quickly! As always, check event websites before making your family plans, and have a hoppinā good time!
Note: Many of these are Seattle Parks and Rec community center events, and the age limits for egg hunts vary. Check carefully when deciding where to go. Arrive early, wear shoes meant for running and bring a bag or basket to collect goodies and eggs! All Seattle Parks Community Center Easter events are free.
Friday, April 18
Peter Cotton Trail Scavenger Hunt | April 18-21 | 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily | Multiple locations in Auburn | Free | Hop through parks and trails in search of the bunnies that will be hidden in various Auburn locations. Bunny Hop Egg Hunt | Saturday, April 19 | 10 to 10:15 a.m. | Centennial Fields Park, Snoqualmie | Free | Ages 1-12 | This popular egg hunt will be complete with Mr. Bunny riding into the park on a Snoqualmie fire engine.
