Easter egg hunts around Seattle: Best family-friendly activities

Spring’s arrival brings many wonderful things, few more exciting than Easter egg hunts and other Easter festivities. In 2025, Easter lands on Sunday, April 20 – and most (but not all) egg hunts are happening on Saturday, April 19th. A wonderful sign of spring, Easter egg hunts are great family fun – outside, active, and typically free.

Be sure to show up for egg hunts early—they typically start right on time and are over very quickly! As always, check event websites before making your family plans, and have a hoppin’ good time!

Note: Many of these are Seattle Parks and Rec community center events, and the age limits for egg hunts vary. Check carefully when deciding where to go. Arrive early, wear shoes meant for running and bring a bag or basket to collect goodies and eggs! All Seattle Parks Community Center Easter events are free.

Peter Cotton Trail Scavenger Hunt | April 18-21 | 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily | Multiple locations in Auburn | Free | Hop through parks and trails in search of the bunnies that will be hidden in various Auburn locations. Find 10 bunnies, submit a scorecard, and get entered for a chance to win some awesome prizes. More info here.

Spring Family Festival & Flashlight Egg Hunt | Friday, April 18 & Saturday, April 19 | Hours vary | Samena Swim Club, Bellevue | $10 for members, $15 for non members | Register here | This festival will feature a flashlight egg hunt, toddler egg hunt, underwater egg hunt and musical entertainment by Ella Bella Bee & The Pollinators.

My Gym Egg Hunt Family Event | Friday, April 18 & Saturday, April 19 | Hours vary | My Gym Kent | $25 per child, per party time | Register here | 6 mon – 1o years | Kids will search for plastic eggs in the play area, play themed games & activities, and take home a special treat. Space is limited. This event is parent supervised and encourages you to bring your own basket.

Community Egg Hunt | Saturday, April 19 | 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. | Lake Tye Park, Monroe | Free | Ages 10 and under for egg hunt | Join this community egg hunt, with pre-event activities organized by local organizations and businesses. The fields are organized by age group and will hunt one at a time (includes a 5th field for kids with disabilities who need extra support). Bring your own basket.

Bunny Hop Egg Hunt | Saturday, April 19 | 10 to 10:15 a.m. | Centennial Fields Park, Snoqualmie | Free | Ages 1-12 | This popular egg hunt will be complete with Mr. Bunny riding into the park on a Snoqualmie fire engine. Thousands of eggs are places, divided on the field in age groups. The hunt doesn’t take long due to the popularity/large amount of children in the area.

Traditional Egg Hunt | Saturday, April 19 | 10 to 11 a.m. | Brier Park, Mountlake Terrace | Free | Egg hunt for 3-10 years old | Join this egg hunt with thousands of eggs stuffed with candy and prizes. Kids will be released by age group and have a chance to pick up filled eggs. There will be a staggered start for different age groups.

Kla Ha Ya Days Easter Parade | Saturday, April 19 | 10 to 11 a.m. | Downtown Snohomish | Free to watch | This Easter parade features floats, bands, dance and drill teams, decorated vehicles, sports teams, animals, and more. Don’t forget to enter the Bonnet Contest immediately following the parade.

Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt & Spring Festival | Saturday, April 19 | 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. | Heatherwood Middle School, Mill Creek | Free | Ages 1-11 | Join this continuous egg hunt, where children can search for more than 18,000 candy and prize-filled eggs. Enjoy photos with the Easter Bunny, games, carnival activities, relays and other family-friendly activities.

Chehalis-Centralia Railroad Eggspress Train | Saturday, April 19 | 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. | $15 (3-5 yrs), $19 (6 yrs+), free for ages 2 and under | Tickets here | All aboard this family-friendly train ride, with a 75 minute round trip journey of scenic countryside, photos with the Easter bunny, face painting, games and an egg hunt (for ages 12 and under).

Easter Egg Hunts | April 19-20 | 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. | Old McDebbie’s Farm & Jim’s U-Fish | $12+ | All ages | There will be a 30 minute hunt starting at each hour. Hunts can be purchased at the time of your family’s visit. They will be putting out about 25 dozen eggs each hunt. Easter Bunny will be making an appearance!

Spring Festival & Egg Hunt | Saturday, April 19 | 10:05 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. | Dacca Park, Fife | Free | Egg hunt for ages 0-12 | Join this family-friendly event packed with entertainment, vendors, and activities for all ages. It features an egg hunt, a bouncy house, a giant slide, photos with the Easter bunny, a balloon artist and so much more.

Spring Craft Bazaar & Bunny Photos | Saturday, April 19 | 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. | Lynnwood Event Center | Free | There will be vendors with baked treats, candles, jewlery and more as well as free swag bags for the first 50 people at the door. Easter Bunny photos start at $20 from 12 to 2 p.m.

Beer Garden Easter Egg Hunt | Saturday, April 19 | 12 to 5 p.m. | Ounces Taproom & Beer Garden, Seattle | Free | This year’s event includes 3 different easter egg hunts – two with candy-filled eggs for kids and one with golden eggs worth a beer for adults 21+.

Hop to Old Bellevue Easter Eggstravaganza | Saturday, April 19 | 2 to 4 p.m. | Old Bellevue Main Street | Free | All ages | Over 16 businesses and apartment buildings will give away free treats and plenty of candy for the kids along with lots of places to take cute photos. They also have an adult bunny greeter bouncing along the streets.
