Seattle’s St. Patrick’s 2026 Parade starts this year at 12:30  p.m. on a new parade route along Alaskan Way beginning at the intersection of Alaskan Way and Broad Street at the Seattle-Galway Sister City Stone by Pier 66 and progressing to the Great Wheel by Pier 58.

Seattle’s 55th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade celebrates Irish culture and heritage with music, dance, and vibrant displays.

Each year, about 2,000 parade participants – pirates, pipe bands, high school bands, drill teams, Irish dancing groups, groups representing Irish and other organizations and a few wacky characters – parade downtown to show off their Irish pride and celebrate the patron saint of Ireland.

The Parade is intended as a tribute to St. Patrick and as a celebration of Irish and Irish-American tradition and heritage. It is organized for the enjoyment and education of one and all and is a family-friendly event.
