Seattle-area spray parks are open for the 2026 summer season, offering families plenty of ways to cool off from Everett to SeaTac and across the Eastside.
Many Seattle spray parks opened May 23, 2026 and will remain open through Sept. 7, 2026. Wading pools in Seattle open on a staggered schedule beginning June 27, 2026. You’ll also find fantastic splash pads and water play areas in Bellevue, Redmond, Edmonds, Lynnwood, Kent, Tukwila, Snoqualmie and other communities throughout the region.
Most city-run spray parks operate daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. during the summer, though schedules vary by location. It’s always a good idea to double-check hours and operating status before heading out.

Seattle
- 860 Terry Ave., N, Seattle

This park is close to the center of downtown Seattle. The park provides access to green space and the water, with MOHAI and The Center for Wooden Boats close by.
International Fountain at Seattle Center
- 305 Harrison St., Seattle
- Open daily, year round
Built in 1961 for the World’s Fair, the International Fountain is a Seattle Center centerpiece. If you’ve grown up around here, you’ll probably remember spending a school field trip or a summer day running around its huge cement bowl through blasts of water. Here are some really cool facts about the fountain, including its use of recycled by, highly sanitized water.

Judkins Park features picnic areas, a skatespot, playground, spray park and a wonderful area for community gatherings.

This large park offers welcome shade and a spray park in NE Seattle with jets that kids can control. It also features a wooded area with hiking paths and a cool playground—and your pup will love the off-leash dog park.

This cool park, with its airplane-themed play structures and superb climbing features, also has a splash pad Seattle families love for post-play cooldowns.
Miller Community Center/Playfield
- 330 19th Ave. E., Seattle

A prominent staircase outside the entrance of the building connects the street with the center, fountain/water feature, play area, multi-use playfield and the school.
Jefferson Park (Beacon Mountain)

Note: Temporarily closed due to a mechanical issue.
Beacon Mountain’s eco-friendly play space features two cool hillside slides and a spray pad perfect for the under-5 crowd. Also notable: the spectacular views of the sound and Olympics.

Next to the Yesler Community Center, you’ll find this fun park with its eye-catching play structures and slidable turf hill. Cool off in the spray park’s water jets while taking in the city views.

In 2025, the play area was relocated and renovated as part of the South Park Community Center sitewide renovation. This park features a newly updated, fully accessible spray park alongside a modern playground sure to become a family favorite.

This little park is loads of fun: a jeep-themed spring rider, cool climbers and a spray pad that features a bucket dump for super-soaking. Pack a lunch and stay awhile. The park offers both shade and views of Mount Rainier.

Ballard Commons Park features a skate bowl, water feature, engaging public art, relaxing seating areas and lawns and ADA accessible walkways. The park forms part of a new municipal center in Ballard, with a Seattle Public Library branch and Neighborhood Service Center. Spray feature shut off on August 11 and August 25, 2026 to accommodate Dancing Til Dusk.

This park is located next to NewHolly, a mixed-income, diverse community developed around the year 2000. It has picnic shelters, a plaza, an expanded children’s play area, landscaping, and a community garden.

Picnic tables and park benches spot this park with ample areas for barbecuing, playing basketball, and running through the grass.

North of Seattle
Daleway Park, Lynnwood

Daleway Park is lcoated in west Lynnwood neighborhood and has a spray park, large active play areas, basketball court and picnic facilities. The east side of the park is forested and includes a neighborhood trail connection.

Forest Park, Everett

Everett’s oldest park boasts hiking, old growth forest, an animal farm, a huge playground, and — yep — a splash pad with interactive water features.
Hazel Miller Spray Park, Edmonds
- 600 3rd Ave S, Edmonds
- Open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily from Memorial Day (May 25) through Labor Day 2026
This city park offers a large spray park for hot summer days, next to a play structure, and it includes 55 gallon buckets, water canons and arches that spray water. The park offers swings, picnic tables horseshoe pit, open grass lawn and fields for active play.
South of Seattle

This lakefront park offers swimming, a sandy beach, plus one of the coolest spray parks around. Beware the Mega Splasher, a big red bowl perched 20 feet up that slowly fills with water, waiting like a jack-in-the-box to send gallons of gushing water over the heads of parkgoers.

The splash park has a rolling ball fountain in the middle that gets pushed around with kid power and a water spray. There is a library right across the street.

Check out the water dome, water cannons and fountains, and bring lunch — this park offers lots of grassy area for picnics. Open now and through the 2026 summer season.
Eastside

This fantastic PNW-inspired spray park has large, climbable killer whales, cool “rock” features and spraying sea creatures. Stay for the day: There’s a big playground nearby, plus trails and covered picnic shelters.

Come for the shopping; stay for the splashing. Redmond Town Center’s pedestrian zone features a splash pad along with as well as pavement games and picnic benches. Open during Mall Hours, weather permitting.

Pack a picnic and come play or rest in the great lawn, then cool off in the splash pad. Note that this park does not feature a playground.
Grass Lawn Park, Redmond

- Open daily 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, 2026
This park is awesome for both big kids and littles: multiple play structures, biking paths and a cute little sensory-activated spray pad area make Grass Lawn a surefire hit.
Bellevue Downtown Park (Inspiration Playground)

This all-abilities play area feels more like a whimsical playland than your average swing-and-slide go-to. The 1.5-acre park features swings, bouncers, slides, climbing structures and a super-cool “Roots and Rock” climbing wall. The splash area is also a hit — perfect for your pint-sized parkgoers.
Snoqualmie Community Park Splashpad
- 35016 SE Ridge Street, Snoqualmie
- Open daily, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Memorial Day through Labor Day 2026
This splashpad opened last year, and features in-ground spray features and many interactive components, including a large dump bucket, a Sasquatch, a friendly bear, and trees.
