Hunt for salamanders during this morning's Tot Trek at Camp Long. Kids ages 2 to 3 can participate in the 10:30 am hunt for life under logs and leaves; preregister for the $4 session before you go.
At 3:30 pm today, head to the Rainier Beach library for Detective Cookie’s Urban Youth Chess Club. The 90 minute event for kids age 7 and up has been teaching chess to inquiring minds since 2007.
