An approval vote for Proposition 1 is currently leading in King County elections

As of Election Day, Nov. 3, King County's Proposition 1 is polling at a 52% vote for Approved. This proposition is a property tax levy that will channel funding toward prevention and early intervention for high-risk youth, and also provides funding for parental and newborn support, domestic violence prevention and intervention, and healthy pregnancy support. The levy would add a property tax of $0.14 per person per $1,000 of property value, as well as authorizing increases of a maximum 3% over the next five years.
