An unusual production is coming to Seattle Children's Theatre.
There is no talking in "Balloonacy."
It is the story of a man (The Old Man) who lives alone and is getting ready to quietly celebrate his birthday. In floats the Red Balloon, and what unsues is Charlie Chaplin-esque physical comedy as Man and Balloon have fun and go on adventures.
Message: It’s never too late to rediscover the unbridled joy of play.
Prediction: Kids will laugh and giggle; adults will laugh — and think.
The show runs March 14-May 5. Full schedule of showtimes + ticket information here.
It is recommended for anyone 3 and older. It is about 40 minutes long with no intermission.
