Seattle's Child

Your guide to a kid-friendly city

Boys (and girls) in blue

For kids fascinated by our men and women in uniform, the Seattle Metropolitan Police Museum offers a fun children’s interactive area. Kids can try on authentic police hats, uniforms, helmets and bulletproof vests. They can turn on police lights, listen to vintage police calls and check out a real jail cell. Older kids can examine historical documents and investigate devices and photographs from the SPD and King County Sheriff’s Office dating back to the late 1800s. seametropolicemuseum.org
