Brigade Encampment, ArtVentures

Brigade Encampment lets you see what life was like in the mid-1800s when a brigade of fur trappers arrived at Fort Nisqually in Tacoma. Re-enactors will demonstrate some of the trappers and traders’ games and daily chores, with many hands-on activities for visitors to try.

Families are invited to an afternoon combining art and play at the Henry Art Gallery during ArtVentures. Work on an interactive installation that explores air and gravity (hint: we hear there will be balloons!). Be sure to pre-register.
