Come hungry to Vegfest

There's over 500 foods to sample at Seattle Center this April 9-10

Bring your kids to Seattle Center April 9 and 10 for Vegfest, an annual healthy vegetarian food festival that celebrates the versatile and delicious world of vegetables. Whether your family is vegetarian or you're just looking to teach your kids about healthy choices, Vegfest has plenty for the whole family to enjoy. Make sure you come hungry, as there are more than 500 different food samples to try, including Italian roasted tofu and garbanzo bean curry, and there's even a special tasting area for the kids (chocolate soy milk, anyone?). You can enjoy cooking demonstrations by chefs from all over the country or browse the large vegetarian book selection as your little ones enjoy the kids' area, complete with clowns, puppet shows, and more.

Tickets available at the door (cash or check only): adults $9, kids 12 & under free. 10 am to 6 pm, Mercer St. & 3rd Ave N., Seattle
