Dine Around Seattle is back; How to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday

In a kid-favorite holiday rivaled only by Halloween and the entire month of December, Dr. Seuss' Birthday is finally here. Celebrate with reading parties, play times and more Lorax-approved events. If you can't get out of the house, add a few drops of green food coloring to scrambled eggs and call it a day.

If you're looking for date night ideas or want to check out a new restaurant with the kids, heads up: Dine Around Seattle runs from now to the end of the month. It's the 15th year for the three-course meal event, serving $33 dinners or $18 lunches Sun-Thurs. Good picks for kids on the list of participating restaurants include Quality Athletics, Beach Cafe, Hecho and Coastal Kitchen.
