End-of-summer fun at Woodland Park Zoo

The Woodland Park Zoo's summer specials are wrapping up. If you've been wanting to squeeze in one more visit with the monkeys, go this weekend.

Kids ages 12 and younger get half-price admission through Labor Day. You'll need to print this coupon or display it on your smartphone and present it at the gate.

Friday, August 30, is also the last chance to check out WildNights. The zoo will be open until 8:30 p.m. so you can experience the wonders of wildlife in the twilight hours. At the Zoomazium indoor playspace, you'll find storytelling, a puppet show, wildlife discovery stations and other animal-inspired activities. Grown-ups can stop by the beer and wine garden in the North Meadow, where there is a fire pit, giant Jenga and s'mores.
