Street Scramble Alki, Sat April 9, 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. Alki Beach Park. Grab your friends and family and join the fun for the first Scramble of the year. Using a map, explore this popular beach community in a scavenger-type hunt and find as many checkpoints as possible in the allotted time. $24-30, $14-20 ages 13-21, $5 ages 6-12.  Street Scramble. 
 
World Rhythm Festival, Fri April 8 noon – 5 p.m.Sat April 9 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.,Sun April 10, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. FREE. Seattle Center Armory. Drum circles, drum workshops, drum performances at the annual drum mecca. Pick up some sticks and join in on the beats all weekend long. Drum Festival. 
 
Exploring Tidepool Life, Sat April 9, Carkeek Park. FREE. Wear water shoes and prepare to get wet as you search for anemones, moon snails and clams with a naturalist. Kids must be accompanied by an adult. Meeting place; kiosk next to bridge over railroad. Please pre-register. Tidepool Exploration at Carkeek 
 
Moisture FestivalFri April 8 7:30 p.m. Sat/Sun April 9/10, 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Jugglers, acrobats and clowns, oh my! Plus musicians, dancers, aerialists, comedians, magicians and more. Most shows all-ages. $26, $16 seniors, $11 youth. Moisture Festival
 
Second Saturday Spectacular: Tickle Toon Typhoon, University Heights Community Center, Sat April 93-4 p.m. FREE. This fun performance group blends traditional and ethnic styles of music and dance together for a lively hour of entertainment with a few dashes of education thrown in for good measure. Donations welcomed. Tickle Tune Concert.
