Get your love notes written and your tennis shoes tied for this fun 5K run/walk around Green Lake. On the course, you’ll dash past the "tunnel of love" fence where you can find and leave love notes to other race participants. 8 a.m. registration, 9:10 a.m. kids' dash (ages 10 and younger), 9:30 a.m. 5K. $35 to $45, free kids’ dash (youth T-shirt $10).

ArtVenture is a great event held the second Sunday of every month at the Henry Art Gallery. It’s an afternoon where families can play, learn, and create together. Take part in an afternoon of traditional folk dances for kids ages 9 and younger and their grown-ups at the Phinney Center. There’s always a live band and a caller who makes everything fun and easy! You don’t have to have dancing experience to take part – it’s simply a fun day for everyone.
