Hope you haven’t put away the snow gear yet. Bundle up for a day of playing in the snow and an introduction to snowshoeing. Be sure to wear sturdy boots, and bring water and a sack lunch. Trip leaves from the Tacoma Nature Center. This is appropriate for kids ages 7 and older with a caregiver. Please pre-register by noon on Friday. $30 per person, $27 TNC members.

Celebrate World Water Day 2017 with IslandWood and King County at the Brightwater Education Center in Woodinville. There will be fun activities for all ages including art projects and science experiments, plus you can take a tour of the wastewater treatment plant and learn about how we impact our water sources, how we keep them clean and what we can do to protect them.
